Challenges

Yakult and the advertising agency aimed to offer customers a music CD designed to support health and well-being.

The challenge was to create an audio experience that not only resonates with Yakult’s brand values but also genuinely promotes relaxation, wellness, and a healthy lifestyle.

The CD needed to appeal to a broad audience, providing a comforting, uplifting experience that encourages both mental and physical well-being, helping listeners feel healthier, stay motivated on their wellness journey, and maintain a sense of vitality over time.

Solutions

In collaboration with a medical doctor, a unique music concept was developed to support each track’s purpose and the descriptions on the CD.

Each track was carefully composed and aligned with medical insights, then presented to Yakult and the advertising agency.

The goal was for every Yakult customer to find at least one track that deeply resonated with them.

The result was an immediate success—the tracks were well-received across the board. The CD became Yakult’s largest PR success to date and quickly sold out.
